Terms and conditions


 

  • An R850 booking fee is required to secure your booking. Proof of payment must be sent through to Yellow Lemon Photobooth either to christa@ylpb.co.za or sent via WhatsApp on 084 265 3531.
     

  • Cancellations – 2 Months or earlier will forfeit 50% of the booking fee; 1-2 Months will forfeit 75% of the bookings fee.
     

  • The EST number specific to your Estimate or Invoice MUST be used at reference for us to be able to allocate the payment AND a Proof of Payment is required.
     

  • The final funds are required 7 days before the event takes place. No booking shall take place should the remaining funds not be paid in and reflected in our account 2 hours prior to the booking commencing.
     

  • Should you be required to postpone, we are happy to move the booking over to another date, provided there is availability on our side.
     

  • A date is only booked for you once the R850 is paid. Please know that we send multiple quotes out for specific dates and EST is not a placeholder.
     

  • A quote is valid for 24 hours and availability should be confirmed if any payment or confirmation is made after that time frame.
     

  • Set up takes 60-90 minutes and is done before the booked hours commences.
     

  • Breakdown takes 30 minutes. If an early set up is required before the booked hours begin, this will be an additional R300 per hour.
     

  • Arrival time for set up will be +-60 to 90 minutes before the set running time.
     

  • Additional time/extra hour(s) can be requested at the end of the running time at the event and will be at an additional cost per hour that must be paid in cash or EFT at the event.
     

  • The client is liable for any damages caused to the photobooth and/or props caused by the client or the guests. A fee will be applicable based on the damage caused.
     

  • A 2m x 3m space is required for the booth – set up in a wind free, rain free area, not in direct sunlight, and preferably indoors. Outdoors can work but is required to be disclosed and discussed.
     

  • We do not offer backdrops, should a backdrop be required – please let us know and should we have a have a White Plain backdrop available, that can be included at no cost.
     

  • Themed props can be requested and will be and additional R600 as they must be purchased/made – this must be requested at least 9 days prior to the event.
     

  • All photos will be sent to the client via Pixieset after the event (within 96 hours) and approximately 30 images will be put on social media and on the website for marketing purposes. Should you not agree to this, please inform us of this prior to the booking, either via email or to the operator on site.
     

  • Should we experience technical difficulties with the printer, the photobooth will still continue to run and take pictures which will still be sent to the client via Pixieset and the digitals will be printed and either couriered or delivered to them within 96 hours post event.
     

  • We cannot be held liable in the event of a power shortage/outage/failure where we are unable to do our job and run the photobooth. In the instance of no power, the Camera can still run for +-30 minutes on battery, but no prints can be made until the power comes back on and no lighting is guaranteed.
     

  • Should the crowd be overly rowdy, destructive, and/or intoxicated and the operator feels threatened in any way or feels that his/her safety is in danger along with booth being jeopardized in any way, the assistant will shut down the running of the photobooth immediately.
     

  • The Photobooth prints out two duplicate strips per session ONLY , but the sessions are unlimited.
     

  • The Photobooth requires power, we do not provide our own.

PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL ACT AS FULL ACCEPTANCE OF THE ABOVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
